Ron Miller |
Ron is from America and has been living in Japan for 5 years. He has been teaching with the center for 5 years. He has received training in teaching English as a second language. Ron teaches both adult's and children's private and group lessons. Using songs and games with the children along with textbooks and custom lesson plans for adults. Ron enjoys helping his students learn useful English. Ron is also the Bible study teacher for the center. |
Christina is the Tama Center's kindergarten teacher. She is an American who has been living in Japan for a little over a year. Christina has a Bachelors of Science in English and Intercultural Studies. She has completed field studies in several American classrooms and recently worked in child care with children ranging 6 to 17 years old. She has a love for children and wants her students to not only learn English, but be able to make meaningful and lasting relationships with English speakers. She writes the curriculum for the kindergarten bases on the standards of American classrooms. She also teaches group lessons for children. |

William Olson is originally from Ventura, CA and is a certified ESL instructor having completed his training with TEFL International and has been working at the Tama Christian Center since Aug. 2013. William finds teaching rewarding and is always ready to ignite a passion for new discovery and learning in a child. Ty Moore |
Ty is leading several group and private lessons for adults at the Tama Center. He is an American who has been living in Japan for 4 years and working for over 2 years. He has been working with the Tama Center for more than a year and has experience working with both adults and children. |
Rhonda teaches home lessons and acts as a teaching assistant in the kindergarten and is a co-teacher for the after school program. She is an American who has been living in Japan for a year with her daughter, Jennifer. Rhonda's lessons are lighthearted and enjoyable for her students. Blending play and English, Rhonda helps guide her students to love learning and enjoy speaking in their new language. |

Jennifer is a teaching assistant and co-teacher for the after school program at the Tama Center. She is an American who has been living and working in Japan for a year with her mother, Rhonda. She enjoys working with both adults and children. She has completed several education courses along with field studies in the United States. She enjoys helping others learn and has been enjoying learning about Japan. |

Jeremy works with the younger students in the after school program as well as teaches groups lessons. He is an American who has been living and working in Japan for over 2 years. |

Joe teaches adult group and private lessons for the Tama center. He is an American has been living in Japan for 6 years and has been working for the center for 3 years. He enjoys sharing talking with his students and helping them enjoy speaking English.

Allison is an intern with the Tama Center. She had been living in Japan for 3 months acting as a teaching assistant for both the kindergarten and after school program. She is enjoying learning more about Japanese culture as she helps share Christ and English with children. |
